Since being at the helm of TMDP, Scott has totally transformed the Leicestershire-based architectural design & construction management consultancy into one of the most dynamic companies in the region. Launching TMDP Special Projects in 2011 and subsequently forming TMDP Group in 2015, Scott now heads up a multi-million pound organisation providing innovative design and constructions solutions across the UK.
Primarily responsible for overseeing new business, client liaison and ensuring project delivery across all companies within the Group, Scott has extensive experience in all sectors of the construction industry.
Scott studied at De Montfort University and Reading University and has developed his career over the 20 years in private and public sector organisations.
Working alongside Scott to oversee the smooth running of TMDP Group and its subsidiaries, Nikki has risen through the ranks to become Marketing Director and knows the business inside and out.
Responsible for promoting the organisation, raising its profile and also overseeing the Groups CSR programmes, Nikki’s background in customer service ensures that professional standards are maintained at all times.
Her role includes generating networking and new business opportunities and developing and maintaining client relationships. She works closely with external consultants ensuring the business is promoted according to corporate guidelines.
Scott and Nikki are supported by two further non-executive directors to ensure smooth running and strategic planning of the Group's future.
After working with HM Prison Service for nearly 12 years, Jamie joined TMDP’s apprenticeship scheme at the beginning of 2017 to set out on a new career in the construction industry.
Over the past twelve months, Jamie has been able to demonstrate the impressive organisational skills gained in his previous role with the Prison Service and has utilised them at TMDP to full effect. His pragmatic approach and thorough understanding of the company and it's values, have led to an accelerated progression through the ranks to become Group Operations Manager.
In his role, Jamie is tasked with managing budgets, overseeing deadlines, managing the company fleet, all operational activities (on and off-site), streamlining process and implementing efficiencies within the Group.
He works closely with directors, Scott and Nikki and all division managers to ensure that every area of the business is functioning cohesively. Jamie is an integral part of both site and office staff and together with TMDP’s project managers, oversees day to day running of all current projects.
As TMDP’s Group Financial Controller, Bryan, who joined the company in March 2017, oversees all company accounting and investments for the TMDP Group of companies including TMDP LLP, TMDP Special Projects and TMDP Electrical.
With over 25 years’ in finance, Bryan has a wealth of experience working in a variety of financial disciplines across multiple industry sectors.
As a vital part of the TMDP team, Bryan, who is a fully qualified accountant, oversees all aspects of the Group’s financial activities including payroll and invoicing; monthly and annual reporting; analysing performance; trends and forecasting; managing cash flow and ensuring compliance to all legislation and regulations.
Heading up the busy finance office, Bryan administers every aspect of TMDP’s accounting procedures and works closely with TMDP’s directors to produce budgets, forecasts and efficiencies.
Ben joined TMDP Special Projects as Contracts Manager after successfully running his own building and joinery company for the past 10 years. He has worked closely with TMDP on several projects over that time and in September 2017 his company was absorbed into the TMDP Group.
In his new role as Contracts Manager, Ben is responsible for ongoing coordination of all projects from tender to completion. Working alongside the management team, Ben is also responsible for running all of TMDP’s live sites, managing all site staff, ensuring that all project completion dates are achieved and that TMDP’s quality control targets are met on every build.
Ben works closely with TMDP’s directors, QS and Design teams and all office and site staff. He monitors H&S ensuring that, as a company, we run a zero tolerance organisation when it comes to H&S.
His ‘hands on’ approach and vast experience has made him a valuable member of the TMDP team.
Ben joined TMDP (Special Projects) in April of 2016, with a wealth of knowledge in the construction industry spanning over 20 years. Having worked on small residential developments to large commercial projects, he quickly progressed through the ranks from site labourer up into management. As Contracts Manager, he is responsible for the daily running of all TMDP Special Projects construction projects from procurement to completion.
He assists in the tender stage with preparing documents for the tender packs alongside the pricing team, helping to negotiate materials and plant for site with the buying team.
Liaising with subcontractors to ensure good relations are maintained and TMDP’s performance, company quality expectations Health & Safety and site requirements are clearly communicated and recorded. He works closely with TMDP’s directors, QS and Design teams and all office and site staff. Ben monitors H&S ensuring that, as a company, we run a zero tolerance organisation when it comes to H&S.
He is the main point of contact for clients, site Staff and design team.
Noel has nearly 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and is an SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) qualified Site Supervisor. As the link between site staff and contract managers, he oversees smooth day to day running of project on site and has become a great asset to the construction team.
His vast experience encompasses a comprehensive range of projects including new builds, domestic & commercial, schools, hospitals, stately homes and Ministry of Defence commissions.
James joined TMDP Special Projects as a site supervisor in January 2016, however has worked with TMDP on a sub-contractor basis for many years. His long association with the organisation means he has an in depth knowledge of the both the construction industry and TMDP. James has an NVQ level 3 in Carpentry.
Daren joined TMDP Special Projects in January 2015 and was quickly promoted to Site Supervisor.
He is a qualified NVQ 3 carpenter and also has his SSSTS qualification. With 25 years’ experience in the building trade, he has acquired a comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the construction industry – an asset which he has brought to TMDP in his role.
Daren’s role at TMDP Special Projects includes the smooth running of large and small projects in both commercial and residential areas and managing onsite staff. Ensuring the highest standard of workmanship during construction, and maintaining all aspects of health & safety are adhered to.
Martin joined TMDP Special Projects in September 2017 and has 15 years’ experience in groundworks. He is qualified to NVQ Level 2 in groundworks and NVQ Level 3 in groundworks supervision, has an all machine operative ticket, including Level 2 CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) and also has an SSSTS certificate.
Martin also holds a Confined Space certificate, H&S and Asbestos Aware certificates.
Vicky joined TMDP in July 2017 with an impressive background of administrative capabilities within both the construction industry and the public sector service.
Working closely with Scott, Nikki and the rest of the TMDP Group team, Vicky acts as PA, office administrator, front of house reception and team admin support. She carries out all aspects of office administrative duties or TMDP LLP, TMDP Special Projects and TMDP Electrical. In addition, Vicky manages all diaries, oversees utilities management and manages all project filing processes.
Vicky is a fully trained first aider and is trained in Information Management and Conflict Management.
